In this Turn My Mic Up I want to share with you a Philly talent who goes by the name of GrandeMarshall. I got to see Grande, perform twice this week, first at the M Room Monday for Mad Decent Mondays, and then Wednesday at the A$AP Rocky show where Freeway would also come out to do What We Do (there was a kid in the crowd who didn’t know who Freeway was, go figure)
To be blunt about it and yes you can quote me I really like Grande’s music because it is some real nigga shit at the end of the day and I will always respect that, ALWAYS.
As some of you may know it is J Dilla month in addition to Black History month, J Dilla for those of you who don’t know was a legendary producer from Detroit who is your “favorite producer favorite producer”. During the week ?uest Love of The Roots had a guess set on Hot 97 in which he dedicated it to the music of Dilla have a listen it is really good LISTEN HERE
