SONGS AND VIDEO OF THE DAY

Published on August 4th, 2010

What’s up everyone? It’s time for songs and video of the day, and we’ve got some excellent tunes for you. First up, we have a new track from Freddie Gibbs, a Cali-based rapper. The song combines the talents of Bun B, Chip Tha Ripper, Chuck Inglish, and Dan Auerbach, and the product is just as good as you’d expect. Next, we have a new track from DYM, also known as Damn You Mongolians. We’ve heard some awesome remixes come off of Local Natives’ Gorilla Manor, and this one is no exception. Finally, we have something that came as a recommendation to me from a roommate. I’d never heard of Disco Damage or Drlkt Freddie, but I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more from both of them.

For the video of the day, here’s the new video for Neon Indian’s 6669 (I Don’t Know If You Know). The slow-action shooting style compliments the song’s trippy feel perfectly.
