This guy has been bouncing around in the back of my head for a while since Xaphoon Jones suggested I check him out. All original recordings. I even heard he sampled his pet rat’s heart beat for a kick and made the check out to Sarah Michelle Gellar – the rat’s name. I love the experimentation at work. You can feel this guy’s curiosity come through the music. He messes with whacky homemade sounds, uniquely crafted and pieced together, under simple yet elegant melodies. And it’s definitely got a step to it.
