So, we took some land. We participated in genocide. We brought diseases, foreign crops, and Christianity. But hey, that’s no reason not to celebrate! Heck, my forefathers showed up in the 20′s. Everything was just peachy by then. Just ask the Cherokee nation! Now they’re a truck. What did we get out of it, besides the land? Turkey. And To-Furkey, too, I suppose. What a bargain. So eat it up, Philadelphia. Forgive, forget, and give thanks for what we have.
