Its been only about 6 or so months since I first heard Akira Kiteshi‘s remix of Phaeleh‘s epic track “Afterglow” featuring Soundmouse. At that point I knew very little about him, just that he was Japanese and that his remix was tasteful but didnt stray too much from the original. Now, several months later, I’m learning that not only is Tommy Forrest Scottish, but he is an entirely capable producer on his known.

Akira Kiteshi – Pinball
Since his earliest release, the Pinball EP (3D space cadet for PC anyone?), Kiteshi has been releasing smashing tune and smashing tune and from the looks of it, shows no signs of letting up any time soon. His debut album Industrial Avenue will be unleashed on Feb 27 and from what you can hear, its gonna be a monster. After scouring the internet for previews, I predict the heavyweight tracks to be “Iron Man” and track 8, aptly named, “Seven”, aside from the already debuted dance floor decimator “Dark Optimus”. Spanning from Dubstep to Electro to Crunk, this 14 track behemoth is one to mark the calenders for.
